Tania Iraheta is an Artist Educator with a passion for teaching and painting. She obtained a diploma in Graphic Design from George Brown College in 1987 and an Artist educator Certification from The Royal Conservatory of Music in 2012. Tania studied at the Toronto School of Art under the Skills and Career Development Grant . She has been teaching and facilitating painting classes, workshops and demos at cultural centers, community centers, art groups, art organizations, public libraries etc. Tania has also been a recipient of several grants by OAC supporting her Art Education project “Pinceles Latinos Art Studio”. Tania enjoys abstract painting because it gives her a chance to express ideas without words and make the viewer see the world in another way. She exhibits her work regularly throughout the GTA.
